What is GATE Kids?

GATE Kids is a children’s ministry that is designed with your kids in mind! Every Sunday all children (babies through 5th grade) experience safe, age-appropriate environments where the Bible is taught in a creative and relevant way.

How Check-In Works

You may check in your child at the check-in station located in the lobby. After finding your child’s name in the database, you and your child will be given matching identification tags that are exclusive to your family and your visit. Your child will need to wear the name tag portion while you keep the matching tag. After the service, you will return to your child’s room and show your tag in order for your child to be released back to you.

In the event that we need to contact you during the service, your child’s last name and identification code will appear on the screen in the auditorium. We ask that you exit the auditorium immediately and look for a staff member or volunteer who will direct you to your child’s room.

What We Value

Creative Bible Teaching

The Bible is the most amazing book ever written! We strive to bring its stories to life through activities and discussions that keep children engaged. We want all children to love God’s word and understand the value of applying it to their lives.

Relationships

We value children’s relationships within the small group setting as they relate to their leader and other kids in the group. As families commit to attending service each week, children are placed in a group of familiar faces where relationships can grow.

Age-Appropriateness

Our environments and lesson materials are created in a way your child will understand. We are passionate about your kids learning and understanding God’s word!

Safety

Every child’s name tag is matched to a parent-identification number, every volunteer is screened with an interview and background check.

Fun!

Kids love fun! We realize that when children have fun at church, they can’t wait to come back. We value creating fun ways for children to learn about Jesus, including games, activities, singing, and live acting.
